The “Fulbright Graduate Study and Research Scholarships” webinar, organized by Fırat University’s Academic Writing Application and Research Center, was successfully held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. The event aimed to raise awareness among students and academics interested in pursuing graduate studies abroad through Fulbright scholarship opportunities.

Dr. Duygu Beste Başer Özcan from the Department of American Culture and Literature at Hacettepe University participated as the guest speaker. During the webinar, she provided comprehensive information about the Fulbright application process and answered a wide range of questions from attendees. The session shed light on the academic and cultural opportunities that the Fulbright Program offers to scholars.

The webinar was moderated by Research Assistant Yeşim İpekçi, the Deputy Director of the Academic Writing Application and Research Center at Fırat University. Actively involved in the center’s activities and well-known for her academic guidance to graduate students, İpekçi announced that she will continue to support students who are interested in the Fulbright program.
